NEW JAZZ CLUB IN TOWN
Real Jazz, real music, deserves a real sound system, classy surroundings, comfortable furniture, and a lot of appreciation. Roxy is breaking new ground in the Taipei musical scene yet again with Roxy Jazz, the newest addition to the Roxy family.
THE PLACE
The new Jazz club will be a home away from home for musicians and listeners alike. The raised stage comes equipped with:
the highest quality Dixon drum set,
Yamaha stand up piano,
and stand up bass.
Duevel Sirius Omni-Directional speakers fill the whole room with supreme quality sound. When the stage is taking five, the resident DJ spins classic Jazz vinyl records and CDs accompanied with a flat screen TV showing videos of the live performance. Cozy couches that support your back and ambient lighting make for a comfortable musical listening experience.
Roxy Jazz Cover Charge:
There is generally no cover at the door, and only when there are performances will there be a minimum food/drink charge of around 300 per person. The drinks and food menu will contain the Roxy classics with a few new additions such as Absinthe, frozen strawberry Margarita, and red and white wines.
